Legal bills: In the Dec. 30 California section, an article about a state Supreme Court decision that a government agency’s legal bills are generally public record said the case was brought by the ACLU of Southern California. Eric Preven, an advocate for transparency in local government, was a co-plaintiff.

Erika Jayne: An article in the Dec. 24 Hot Property section gave singer-songwriter Erika Jayne’s age as 47. She is 45.

Carrie Fisher: In the Dec. 28 Calendar section, an article about the life and career of the late actress-writer Carrie Fisher described her book “Shockaholic” as a novel. It is a memoir.
