Readers are invited to submit questions about Ana Rodarte’s surgeries and her medical condition, neurofibromatosis. The Times will forward selected questions to her surgeons and two other medical experts. Their answers will be posted at latimes.com Monday, April 13. Not all questions will be answered.
The participating physicians:
* Munish Batra, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a specialty in craniofacial reconstruction.
* Michael Halls, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with expertise in microsurgery, hand and peripheral nerve surgery.
Batra and Halls are affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and are the founders of Doctors Offering Charitable Services, which provided Ana’s care.
* Tena Rosser, a pediatric neurologist who is co-director of the neurocutaneous disorder program and the neurofibromatosis clinic at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
* Linda Randolph, an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at the USC Keck School of Medicine and head of the division of medical genetics at Childrens Hospital.
