Earthquake: 3.2 quake strikes in Inyo County

A shallow magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Saturday morning 27 miles from Lone Pine, Calif., in Inyo County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 8:06 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of one-tenth of a mile.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 42 miles from Ridgecrest, Calif., 62 miles from Porterville, Calif., 65 miles from Lindsay, Calif., and 226 miles from Carson City, Nev.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 and greater centered nearby.
