Police search for gunman in fatal shooting in South L.A.

A 31-year-old man was fatally shot while getting out of his car early Sunday in South Los Angeles, police said.
The shooting occurred about 2:40 a.m. near 39th Street and Normandie Avenue, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately known.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation into the shooting is continuing.
