Man struck by cars in Huntington Beach, dies

A 28-year-old man died Saturday after being struck by two cars on Pacific Coast Highway near Huntington State Beach, police said.
The victim, a 28-year-old Costa Mesa resident, was walking along the roadway near Brookhurst Street around 4:30 a.m. when he was hit by a silver 2003 Cadillac SLS, according to Huntington Beach police.
The man was then hit by another car, which did not stop at the scene, police said. It is unclear why the victim was in the road.
The driver of the Cadillac, a 55-year-old Huntington Beach man, was interviewed and released, police said.
