Glendale police investigate suspected double homicide

The partly decomposed bodies of a man and woman were found Sunday morning in a Glendale home, and police believe both were homicide victims.
A woman called the Glendale Police Department about 9:30 a.m. reporting that she had not heard from her relatives who live in the 600 block of Alexander Street, Sgt. Robert William said.
After arriving at the home, officers found the door open, William said. The man and woman --described as being in their late 70s or early 80s -- were found inside.
No evidence of ransacking or theft was found.
“We’re pretty confident the victims were targeted, and that it’s not a random act of violence,” William said.
Police did not say how the pair were killed or where in the home the man and woman were found. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office hadn’t determined the identities of the two people, William said.
