Karl Sandin photographed participants of the Los Angeles No Pants Subway Ride at a Starbucks in Union Station on Jan. 11.
“I found it interesting that many of the participants were getting coffee and hanging out at Starbucks in Union Station,” he said.
The annual event, where participants ride the subway in their underwear, was started by an improv group in New York City in 2002. The event now takes place in dozens of cities around the world.
