Clippers reserve shooting guard C.J. Wilcox was at practice with the team Wednesday after his first stint in the Development League.
Wilcox was sent to the D-League on Jan. 6. Clippers Coach Doc Rivers said he has since watched the 23-year-old in two games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and “he’s playing great.”
Wilcox has played in three games for the Clippers this season, averaging three points and 0.7 assists in 3.7 minutes a game.
“We’re going to bring him back and forth [from the Development League] for a while,” Rivers said.
Wilcox was selected by the Clippers as the 28th overall pick in the 2014 draft, coming out of the University of Washington, where he averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and one steal in 32 games as a senior.
