The Clippers traded fan favorite Terance Mann and guard Bones Hyland to the Atlanta Hawks for guard Bogdan Bogdanovic and three second-round draft picks on Thursday, according to people with knowledge of the situation not authorized to speak publicly.

The Clippers also traded guard Kevin Porter Jr. to the Milwaukee Bucks for young wing player MarJon Beauchamp.

The 32-year-old Bogdanovic averaged 10 points for the Hawks and shot 37.1% from the field, including 30.1% from three-point range, in 24 games this season. But the 6-foot-5 guard has shot 38% from three over his eight-year NBA career.

Beauchamp, 6-6 and 24 years old, was averaging just 2.0 points in 26 games. He had received less playing time each season since being drafted in the first round in 2022.

The Clippers shook up their bench after star forward Kawhi Leonard said the second unit had to be better following Tuesday’s 122-97 loss to the Lakers.

The Clippers gave Mann a three-year, $47-million extension before the season, but his playing time was not as high as in past seasons. Mann averaged 19.8 minutes and played in just 37 games. He was averaging 6.0 points and 2.9 rebounds and was shooting 44.6% from the field.

Porter, in his first season with the Clippers, averaged 9.3 points in 45 games. Hyland played in just 20 games and averaged 7.2 points.

These were the second and third trades the Clippers made ahead of Thursday’s deadline. On Saturday, the Clippers acquired guard Patty Mills and forward Drew Eubanks from the Utah Jazz for Mo Bamba, P.J. Tucker, a 2030 second-round pick and cash considerations.
