Ariana Washington is Gatorade state athlete of the year in track

Sprinter Ariana Washington of Long Beach Poly has been selected the Gatorade state athlete of the year in girls’ track and field.
She swept the 100 and 200 at the state championshps earlier this month, with winning times of 11.22 and 22.96 seconds.
She also anchored the winning 400-meter relay team. She signed with Oregon.
