Baseball: Hans Crouse pitches USA 18U team to opening win

Hard-throwing Hans Crouse from Dana Hills was called upon to start for the USA 18U team in the opening game of the COPABE Pan American “AAA” championships on Friday in Monterrey, Mexico, and he came through in a 7-1 win over Panama.
Crouse allowed two hits in five shutout innings. He struck out one and walked one.
Hunter Greene (Sherman Oaks Notre Dame) and Nick Pratto (Huntington Beach) each had a hit.
