Baseball: Sophomore infielder Brice Turang commits to LSU

Brice Turang of Corona Santiago, one of the top sophomore baseball players in Southern California, has committed to LSU, his coach, Ty De Trinidad, said Monday.
As a freshman, Turang was one of the best players in the Big VIII League.
Turang hit .475 with 12 doubles and two home runs. He struck out only three times in 112 at-bats.
