Boys’ basketball: Former Taft players Larry Drew, Michael Williams reunite in D-League

Larry Drew II and Michael Williams, former teammates at Woodland Hills Taft, have reunited as teammates for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA’s D-League.
They were in El Segundo on Thursday for a game. Drew scored 10 points and had 14 assists. Williams made three threes.
“It’s really cool to play with a high school teammate at the pro level,” Drew said.
Drew went on to play for North Carolina and UCLA. Williams was at USF and Cal State Fullerton.
