Boys’ basketball: Jordan Brand Hangar hosting event on Friday and Saturday

There will be lots of quality high school basketball being played on Friday and Saturday at the Jordan Brand Hangar at 12499 W Bluff Creek Dr. in Playa Vista as part of an event featuring lots of outstanding matchups.
On Friday, Brentwood plays Anaheim Canyon at 5:30 p.m. followed by Campbell Hall-Mayfair at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, it’s Lawndale vs. Compton at 11:30 a.m.; Santa Monica vs. Village Christian, 1 p.m.; Corona Centennial vs. Westchester at 2:30 p.m.; Chino Hills vs. Alemany, 4 p.m.; Loyola vs. Cantwell-Sacred Heart, 6 p.m.; Redondo vs. Bishop Montgomery, 7:30 p.m.
There’s also prep school teams playing on Friday and Saturday night after the regular high school games.
Ticket prices are $12 for each session, $20 for two sessions and $30 for three sessions.
