Football: Comparing the Mission League and Pac-5 to The Hunger Games

Gardena Serra Coach Scott Altenberg has been spending too much time watching The Hunger Games with his kids, because he’s beginning to think playing in the Mission League and Pac-5 Division is like The Hunger Games.
“Every week, you look up in the sky and see which team is gone and you hope it’s not you,” he said.
Altenberg should start practicing his coin flip skills or start looking for a lucky coin, because if Serra, Crespi and Bishop Amat all win on Friday, coin flips will decide their placing in the Pac-5 playoffs.
Seeding could mean the difference in playing a Moore League team in the opening round to facing a Trinity or Marmonte team. You never know.
