Some things never change, as in Corona Centennial and Vista Murrieta dominating their leagues.
Each has a 30-game league winning streak, according to Eric-Paul Johnson of the Riverside Press-Enterprise.
Centennial (8-2, 5-0) wrapped up the Big VIII League championship with a 48-7 win over Norco. The Huskies gained 647 yards in total offense.
Vista Murrieta (8-2, 5-0) won the Southwestern League title with a 53-14 win over Temecula Valley.
The interesting news will come in the playoffs. For the first time, Centennial will be in the Pac-5 Division, ready to take on Trinity League foes.
Vista Murrieta has moved to the new West Valley Division that includes Mission Viejo, Upland, Hart and Los Alamitos.
Both schools are headed to peak form.
