Football: Hail Mary pass gives La Habra win over Los Alamitos

Down, 32-31, La Habra used that old reliable Hail Mary pass on the final play Friday night to defeat Los Alamitos, 37-32.
Quarterback Eric Barriere rolled to his left to escape pressure, then threw to the opposite corner of the end zone, a 44-yard pass that Eric Lancaster-Garcia caught in a crowd of four Los Alamitos defenders at the one before falling into the end zone for the game-winning touchdown as time expired.
It was a play to remember, that’s for sure.
