Golf: Loyola’s Bryant Falconello wins Northern Division regional

Loyola’s Bryant Falconello fired a 69 on Monday at Los Posas Country Club to place first in the Northern Individual Regional.
Collin Morikawa of La Canada and Spencer Soosman of Westlake finished second with a round of 70. Morikawa won in a playoff.
The top 20 qualify for the individual finals next Thursday.
In the Southern Regional at Skylinks Golf Course, Patrick Pockels of Marina shot a 67 to lead the qualifiers. William Tse of Irvine University and Hidetoshi Yoshihara of Woodbridge shot 69. Tse won on a card off for second.
