Track: Notre Dame defeats Loyola in intense dual meet

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and Loyola, two of the top track and field programs, engaged in their usual intense Mission League meet on Wednesday, and the Knights came away with a 69-58 victory.
They won the 400-meter relay in 41.4 and took the 1,600-meter relay in 3:19.01.
Aaron Haigler of Notre Dame won the shotput with an effort of 57-5.
