Update: Landon Donovan is with the U.S. national team for Saturday’s game against Argentina in New Jersey, so David Beckham will wear the captain’s armband for the Galaxy. Goalkeeper Josh Saunders will be in the nets for the third game in a row because Donovan Ricketts still is overcoming a hamstring strain. Defender Omar Gonzalez is listed as probable despite a sprained right shoulder. Forward Juan Pablo Angel is fit and probably will make his first start for the Galaxy after coming off the bench in Sunday’s 1-1 tie with New England in Carson. Real Salt Lake, which extended Coach Jason Kreis’ contract by two years on Thursday, is unbeaten in its last 35 home games in all competitions.
