LeBron James will soon add another notch to his long list of accomplishments.
He has already won four MVP awards, an NBA championship and has made nine All-Star appearances -- but he has never been on the cover of a video game.
That will change on Oct. 1, when “NBA 2k14” will be released for PlayStation 3, XBox 360 and PC. James, who is trying to win back-to-back championships with the Heat, will grace the cover of the video game for the first time.
Last year, Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant shared the cover of “NBA 2K13.”
The video game franchise is extremely popular and has sold more than 5 million copies in each of the last three years.
