LeBron James youngest to score 20,000 points, besting Kobe Bryant

Miami Heat forward LeBron James became the youngest player in NBA history to score 20,000 points.
James passed Lakers guard Kobe Bryant in the second quarter with a jumper against the Golden State Warriors, at the age of 28 years and 17 days.
Bryant was the previous youngest, accomplishing the same feat at 29 years and 122 days old.
To date Bryant has scored 30,619 points. James finished the night with 20,007 points.
Bryant is fifth on the all-time scorers list, behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387), Karl Malone (36,928), Michael Jordan (32,292) and Wilt Chamberlain (31,419).
The Lakers host the Heat on Thursday night at Staples Center.
