Set your own pace while cycling through Arizona wine country

Soak up some Arizona sunshine and work in a few winery stops this winter with a cycling tour from Tucson to the Mexico border. Pure Adventures’ self-guided tours allow you to pedal at your own pace.
The six-day itinerary takes riders through the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and includes rides in the Catalina Mountains and eventually into Arizona’s wine region and on to the border.
This ride is rated “fit to challenging,” with rolling countryside and some notable hills. Average daily riding distance is 50-plus miles.
Dates: Now through the end of April.
Price: From $1,395 per person, double occupancy. Includes orientation, five nights’ accommodations with breakfast, luggage transfers, and detailed road book and maps. Road bikes with GPS start at $170.
