France: Try a stage of the Tour de France on a biking vacation

Tackle a full stage of the official 2015 Tour de France this summer while pro riders are taking a day of rest. You’ll be cycling alongside Andy Schleck, 2010 Tour de France champion, on this five- or seven-day Trek Travel “Etape du Tour” cycling vacation that will take you through the French Alps past waterfalls and mountain lakes.
Participants will ascend to 6,900 feet as they travel from St. Jean de Maurienne to La Toussuire, will stay in an upscale hotel and indulge in regional Rhone-Alpes cuisine during the tour.
Dates: July 14-20 (seven days, six nights) or July 16-20 (five days, four nights)
Price: $4,699 for the seven-day vacation, $4,199 for the five-day vacation. Included are accommodations at the Hotel Beauregard in the village of La Clusaz, most meals, gratuities, entrance fees to all private tours and events, use of a Trek Domane bicycle and daily route support.
