Garden in the Cotswolds

A somewhat hidden Cotswolds gem is the family-owned Mill Dene Garden that is set around an ancient Cotswold water mill. Tours of the lovely garden are available (The 2008 season runs March 18 to Oct. 31.)

Welcoming bistro

A few weeks ago we visited Newport. A great find was Village Market & Deli, a bistro. Robert and Deborah Trusty and son Jon know how to entertain. Robert prepares an incredible bruschetta. Everyone is treated like family and is made to feel special.
