Downey Fan Club Is Called to Order

Danny Manning (in Mike Downey’s column, Dec. 16) wants greater fan support for the Clippers. Danny, it hasn’t been easy being a Clipper fan and season ticket-holder for several years. All you have to do to get the additional support is to pass the Lakers in the NBA standings. It will give some credibility to the team and the longtime fans, so just do it.
